Practical professional learning for educators
Rhythm → Reset → Ready™
Practical rhythm and movement strategies that help educators reset group energy, support regulation and improve readiness for learning, play and participation.
When a group is restless, noisy, flat, heightened or struggling through a transition, more verbal instruction is not always the answer.
Rhythm → Reset → Ready gives educators simple, repeatable ways to shift group energy through rhythm, movement, voice and shared participation.
No musical experience is required.
What is Rhythm → Reset → Ready?
Rhythm Reset Ready is Growing Well Together’s educator-facing professional learning pathway.
RRR develops educators’ capacity to notice group energy and respond with simple, easy-to-use rhythm and movement strategies. Over time, this supports more intentional practice and helps educators shape the relational conditions around behaviour that:guide shifts in group energy
support shared regulation
reconnect with one another
move through transitions more successfully
become more ready to participate, play and learn
More than just a brain break
A brain break briefly interrupts an activity. Rhythm Reset Ready helps educators notice what the group needs and intentionally choose a rhythm, movement or participation strategy to support what comes next.
It builds educators’ confidence to respond to group energy in real time.
Three common areas where
Rhythm → Reset → Ready
can support everyday practice
These areas are closely connected. Shifting group energy can support smoother transitions and greater readiness for what comes next.
What your team will learn
Your team will learn how to:
pause before responding and recognise whether a group needs settling, activation, reconnection or focus
use brief rhythm, movement and voice strategies during everyday group moments
adapt practices for different ages, settings and levels of participation
lead accessible group experiences without needing musical training
What professional learning looks like
RRR workshops are practical, participatory and connected to everyday education and care settings. Educators experience the strategies as participants, explore the purpose behind them and practise adapting them to familiar group moments. Activities are accessible to educators with or without musical experience.
What educators take away
Educators leave with:
a practical bank of adaptable rhythm and movement strategies
a simple framework for noticing group energy and choosing what to try next
shared language for discussing regulation, participation and educator response
